A Romantic Venetian Wedding Ceremony – A beautiful wedding in Venice for you all from one of our wonderful wedding planners. When Shari asked me to organize her wedding, her wish list turned out to be short but strict: she and Dave, the groom, wanted the most romantic Venetian ceremony, the coziest pieds-dans-l’eau wedding reception for them and their loved ones, and a great photographer to portray the day.
Once solved the bureaucratic aspect of the wedding, the fun could begin; Venice, in fact, offers a number of glamorous halls for the civil ceremony to choose from, all of them reachable by boat, as well as loads of very very romantic hotels on the Grand Canal for an unforgettable first night, and obviously a list of gorgeous restaurants with view on the laguna, to fully enjoy its uniqueness.
The bride wanted every guest to have a floral gift, so Francesca from the “Fioreria Fantin” pulled off lovely messy compositions for both the ceremony and the reception, and took inspiration from it to create pink and light blue corsages for the ladies and boutonnières for the gentlemen; Shari’s bouquet was a delicate ensemble of pink roses, astilbe and berries, perfectly complementing her romantic lace gown.
The whole day was impeccably portrayed by Marco Miglianti, whose pictures capture the deep love of Shari and Dave for each other and for their families, and enhance the timeless Venetian charm.
