Story Of Your Day is a highly-acclaimed and award-winning wedding film brand capturing the stories of discerning couples across the globe. As the Creative Director at Story Of Your Day, storytelling is my passion.

Hi there, my name is Emma Wilson and I'm based in the heart of Switzerland in the Jungfrau Region of the Bernese Oberland. Not only does this mean I am perfectly located to film elopements, weddings and events in neighbouring France, Italy and Austria but also throughout Europe and around the world. And as one of Europe's leading female wedding videographers, I am also the chosen filmmaker for couples like you, who don't just want their wedding day filmed but their story told.

I tell stories about people, places and love. Simplicity is key. Discretion paramount. You'll hardly notice I'm there while I capture your day as it unfolds naturally. In the last ten years of filming weddings, I've learnt that couples commissioning Story Of Your Day aren't wanting a wedding film because they simply want to watch their wedding day back.

They're investing in an 'experience' - a film that allows them to feel the feelings they did on the day, to live every moment again and relive how they felt when they shared the most important promises of their lives. Storytelling is in my DNA and evolved from working at the BBC for two decades, as a journalist and filmmaker, which taught me a really powerful lesson - no two stories are the same.

Being a high-end destination wedding videographer is all about having the opportunity to retell a once-in-a-lifetime compelling love story, to offer my clientele the ultimate experience and to deliver an heirloom in the shape of an exceptional and unique film.

I love aesthetically beautiful imagery but what makes my work stand out, is that my films don't follow a formula and each film is hand-crafted to tell every couples' individual story.

I have wanderlust in my soul and I am thrilled to offer destination wedding film commissions. In order to bring your story back to life, it's really important to work with like-minded people who love my work and who are equally passionate about making this journey together.

I limit the number of commissions I accept to make sure, you as my client, gets the best from me and my creativity. I offer three types of highly-curated commissions, based loosely on elopements, intimate weddings and more lavish celebrations.

But I also wish to work with all my clients to ensure each commission is tailored individually to you and your requirements. My commitment to you is to create a stunning film and deliver an outstanding level of service. All I ask of you is to enjoy your day, stay in the moment and trust me.
