Sarah comes from a background in theatre and publishing, but originally studied art and design which influenced her decision to create a business that would also be a creative outlet. She’s constantly working on new product lines and designs: “I always keep in touch with trends in home decor, colours, and styles - I feel it's important to keep my work fresh and contemporary. A lot of my work is fairly classic in style, but I like to stay abreast of the overall movements in colour and textures and use them to gently influence my new designs and ranges. I’m also hugely influenced by the Norfolk countryside: soft colours from the countryside and glorious Norfolk beaches, wide-open skies, Nordic-style architecture. It all goes into the mix!” 

Aware of creating a sustainable business, Sarah also recognises the importance of buying with care and thought: “I think everyone wants to move away from the idea of buying a gift just for the sake of it - we are all so much more aware of the impact our lives have on the environment. The days of gimmicky gifts that end up in landfill are pretty much gone - my customers want to buy mindfully and thoughtfully, choosing something special, created just for them that will become a treasured item.”
