The moment your guests walk up the stone steps to the marble lined grand entrance-hall, they enter a world of elegance. We have the perfect setting whether you’re looking for an intimate ceremony for close friends or a grand reception. After all, couples have been holding civil ceremonies in the Town Hall for over a century.
The Council Chamber - Licensed for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies. Seating up to 100 guests. With a private reception area for drinks and socialising.
The Bethnal Hall – A gorgeous room, the full height windows flooding the space with natural light. The Bethnal Hall can seat up to 150 guests for a dinner, 130 guests for a dinner dance and up to 350 guests for reception and canapés. With vertically sliding walls it means you can have a more intimate dining experience for up to only 50 guests.
The De Montfort Suite – Our signature design suite is a stunning space with triple height ceiling with two original exquisite Henry Poole statues depicting Truth & Happiness- the perfect guardians to look down on your wedding celebration.
