About Us
s8 films specialise in the filming of weddings and events on super 8 cine film, the original home movie platform from the '60s. We use 'real' movie film for our events as it gives the day a stylish, classic look. For people who have gone to all the trouble of planning their perfect day, having it beautifully filmed on a gorgeous format provides a perfect memento.
We offer a variety of shooting styles ranging from a 'pop video' approach with fast cuts, pacey camera work to a more classical, elegant style using black and white film and slow motion.
The final film is digitally transferred, edited and supplied to you on DVD and Video. Should you require it we also film on video.
