Best Decision
My husband and I bought a house and completed extensive renovations. There were pieces of furniture that we needed to complete the house. Chelsea was a fantastic help in both designing bespoke pieces and sourcing the perfect item. We decided to ask our guests to help contribute.
I found traditional wedding lists very limiting in the things they offered. While china sets and crystal are traditionally given as wedding gifts, I found that guests really wanted to buy something useful that we really needed. I think contributions to our new home via an expert interior designer were the best decision we could have made." Fiona

Understood what we were trying to create
“My husband and I already had our basic household set up when we decided to get married and preferred to have our guests contribute to a few pieces that were beautiful and timeless.
Chelsea came recommended via the British Interior Design Association. We had met quite a few designers before her, but we were excited to find someone who understood the look we were trying to create, had great ideas, and with whom we felt a natural rapport. Her experience in outfitting luxury yachts gave many of her designs a fresh and easy charm that made us feel at home. With Chelsea’s help, we were able to create a wish list of items that fitted in perfectly with our home and created the comfortable, but stylish, look we loved.
Chelsea helped us identify what items we needed to give our rooms a finished look and then together we picked out relevant items. Our guests bought most of the items on our list. The nice thing about the way it worked is that you can also contribute yourself to top up the purchase of an item.”
