In 2005 Lindka Cierach Couture celebrated its 25th anniversary after a quarter of a century which has seen its eponymous founder consistently featuring as one of the UK's most celebrated designers.
The Company's clients include British and European royalty and members of the aristocracy, and the international glitterati of the worlds of film and television, as well as less famous clients who just want to look sensational! Described by Tatler in the mid-80s as "the hottest society dressmaker".
Lindka's distinctive style was admired by the fashion industry and media alike. However, it was her commission in 1986 to design the dress for the wedding of Sarah Ferguson to HRH The Duke of York which brought her widespread international renown. "Everyone, it seemed, could find nothing but praise for her wedding dress for the Duchess of York" reported The Daily Telegraph. The following year Lindka was awarded the accolade, 'Designer of the Year'.
