Vows are exchanged, promises made, many tears of happiness shed. Memories abound. These memories will last a lifetime. Capturing the emotion and joy of this celebration through floral art is a Desmond Talbot speciality. We feel honoured to share this special day with our couples and their families.
The Desmond Talbot bespoke floral design process begins with an informal meeting with the bride and groom. This meeting provides us the opportunity to listen to the love story unfold and to begin a dedicated process of isolating the emotions the couple wish to capture on their special day through floral enhancement.
Our second meeting involves a morning in Covent Garden Flower Market with our bride (and groom if we can entice him) complete with cappuccinos and a great deal of east end charm and hospitality. This outing is a great deal of fun and allows our bride to see, hold and smell an immense variety of flowers so that she can find the flowers which speak to her. Together with our bride, we also choose samples of linens,fabrics, candles, and all accessories which play an integrated role into the Desmond Talbot design process.
Based upon our couple's chosen floral genre, we produce a small bespoke bridal bouquet which is detailed enough to provide our bride a glimpse but not so detailed as to ruin the surprise on her special day. We attend our bride's final bridal gown fittings to ensure she is overjoyed with her ultimate bridal accessory.
At the request of our wedding planner clients, we share samples of our past work. However, we stronglyrecommend our couples 'find their own floral voice'. Each Desmond Talbot wedding is a unique affair, each one different and incredibly special reflecting the love and emotion of two special individuals.
