We love a celebrity wedding at 5 Star Wedding Directory, and we have seen a fair few expected engagements in the last year that we are just dying to see come to fruition! But it’s not just the engaged stars we have our eye on, and we’ve started day dreaming about the probable, possible, and downright wouldn’t-it-just-be-divine-if-they-did celebrities tying the knot in 2016…
The Probable – Lady Gaga & Taylor Kinney
Since surprising Gaga with the question last Valentine’s Day, the couple have been keeping fairly tight-lipped about the details of the big day.
As Kinney is an actor by trade, the two met on the set of her 2011 music video for You And I, where he played the love interest of one of Gaga’s many alter-egos.
Lady Gaga’s gorgeous heart-shaped engagement ring was designed by none other than jewellery designer to the stars, Lorraine Schwartz. The ring itself features a diamond studded setting and band, complete with a special message from Taylor. But before he presented her with the real ring, he couldn’t resist pranking her with a Ring Pop, a ring-shaped candy. She said ‘I said, “Yes!” right away and then he pulled out the heart-shaped diamond. First it was candy. I was happy with the candy.’
The only thing we know for certain about their big day is that Gaga’s legendary pal Tony Bennett has been asked to perform at the big event – and knowing Lady Gaga, it will be huge.
The Possible – Anna Camp & Skylar Astin
Possibly the most talked about engagement of 2016 so far (though we’re only 9 days in) is the announcement from Pitch perfect co-stars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin.
While these two didn’t play love interests on screen, they soon formed a bond which resulted in an engagement announcement on Instagram, no less! They posted an adorable selfie together featuring Camp’s newly accessorised ring finger. While it’s unlikely they’ll exchange vows within the year, we already can’t wait for these two to get hitched!

The on-again-off-again: Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth
After rumours of Miley and Liam potentially getting back together, we have to wonder…
The pair first met on the set of The Last Song, Cyrus’ first acting gig after her Hannah Montana days were over. The film may not be Cyrus’ best work, but it spawned a relationship with her co-star Hemsworth.
Hemsworth originally proposed to Cyrus all the way back in May 2012 (with a 3.5 carat diamond ring) after a 3 year on-again off-again relationship. Sadly, after months of speculation, the pair announced their split in September 2013, thus ending their engagement.
Recently, however, they’ve been rumoured to have a cosy reunion in Australia with Liam’s family, and sources for both parties reported that they’re both interested in reconciling.

The wishful thinking: Jon Hamm & January Jones
Will everyone’s favourite Mad Men couple soon be a real-life match?
After Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt, his girlfriend of 18 years, parted ways amicably in 2015, speculations of a blossoming romance with Jones have been circulating wildly. Supposedly they had been known to flirt on set, but nothing more happened due to Hamm’s serious relationship at the time.
Mad Men may have finished its run last year, but that doesn’t mean the two gorgeous co-stars have ceased spending time together. Hamm & Jones were seen getting rather cosy at as they celebrated Hamm’s prestigious Emmy win at the Emmys After Party. As we say – just wishful thinking… but wouldn’t you love to see how Don and Betty would have turned out in real life?
