The Couple
Krystina and Gabriel, a sweet pair from New York, had been together for six years by the time they tied the knot in January of this year. Their wedding was a sublime mix of the traditional and the whacky, and involved so much love from family and friends – including a rather cute four-legged guest…
The Ceremony
The day opened with a traditional, grand church ceremony, at Plymouth Congregational Church, NY. Taking place in the days just after Christmas, the candle lit altar makes a fairytale setting for a wedding.
The Dress (etc)
Krystina wore a gorgeous and delicate Vera Wang creation from Ever After Bridal, and shoes by the inimitable Jimmy Choo. The bridesmaids wore beautiful ivory, Grecian inspired gowns from Coralie Beatrix, and it was a Damiani Tuxedo for the groom.
The Reception
This January 3rd reception took place at a stunning private residence in New York, where palm trees and lanterns surrounded the pool outside, while Christmas trees still lit up the beautiful interiors inside…The action took place in a marquee hired from Elite Tent Company, with elegant table settings accented by florals in a wild woodland theme – plus a cake to match – and plenty of personal touches such as Gabriel’s Gentlemen’s Bar, and a tree where guests could tie gift tags with their well wishes on. Later, the marquee transformed into a circus tent, with performers in surreal costume taking to the floor to delight the guests, and a dressing up box for party goers to dig into…
