Started by Dimitris Parthenis in Athens in 1970 and now run by his daughter Osalia, Parthenis’ designs are known for their elegance and simplicity reflecting traditional Greek aesthetics.
Most of the dresses are made of silk jersey and can be worn in various ways, allowing for the bride to wear them according to her mood, even change her look during the course of her special day.
Commenting on her 2015 collection Parthenis says that the silhouettes will be fluid, ethereal and statuesque in tones of ivory, white and champagne. She adds that the collection is inspired by the Greek island of Mykanos with its clean lines and Cycladic architecture.
Parthenis will join more than 50 UK and international bridal designers at the fifth edition of White Gallery London in a show case of the finest bridal wear and accessories collections. Held in Battersea Evolution, it attracts the most exclusive retailers and influential press from around the world.
