Lusan Mandongus To Showcase Vintage Collection At White Gallery London 2014

Drawing inspiration from Christian Dior’s New Look collection from the 1940’s, Lusan Mandongus’s latest range features highly tailored waist-cinching silhouettes to emphasis the hourglass shape of a woman’s body.

The necklines of the dresses in the range are inspired by traditional Vietnamese costume and feature French lace which is designed to portray classic glamour and elegance while some designs in the collection feature lace peplums placed on both sides of the hip-line in order to accentuate the figure.

French lace continues to be the favorite material this season with the generous use of layering and re fabricating in a contemporary style while in order to give an element of luxury to gowns crystal appliques and embroideries are used on some designs.
