If the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge gave us a Royal Wedding that was quintessentially English, then David Lauren and Lauren Bush’s wedding was certainly all American.

True to his father’s iconic luxury ranch style, David Lauren wed his bride in a Western-themed ceremony at the family’s 17,000-acre ranch overlooking the Rocky Mountains.
Lauren Bush, 27 and who is to now be known as Lauren Bush Lauren, is the niece of former US president, George W Bush and a former model turned entrepreneur. David Lauren, 39, is the son of international designer and entrepreneur, Ralph Lauren and an executive at Polo Ralph Lauren.

As reported by the New York Post, Lauren Bush wore a Victorian-inspired intricately embroidered gown designed by her now father-in-law, Ralph Lauren; whilst David wore a vintage Lincoln era-inspired tuxedo.

The 200 guests who gathered at the romantic setting of Ralph Lauren’s Double RL ranch in Ridgeway, Colorado; included George W. Bush 43 and former First Lady Laura Bush, their twin daughters Jenna Hager and Barbara Bush, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. All guests were invited to attend in black tie with a Western theme.

The bride arrived at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage to guests who reportedly watched from hand-carved wooden benches. Angela Buchdahl, the senior cantor of Manhattan’s Central Synagogue, conducted the Jewish ceremony, which was followed by a reception in a barn in a nearby meadow.

Needless to say that attention to detail was prevalent at the Wedding with the menu including Steaks from ranch stock and the three-day celebrations continuing the Western theme to include a Labour Day rodeo for guests to experience and watch the bucking bronco.
