Jesus Peiro’s Retro Femininity Wedding Gowns

Leading Spanish designer Jesus Peiro creates dramatic gowns for the bride who is classic yet still likes to be on trend.  The new collection is bold with a distinctly retro feel where femininity, romanticism and balance all combine with the rich sophistication of line, exquisite hand finishing and exclusive embellishments to define the unmistakable style of Jesus Peiro.

Taking inspiration from early 20th Century design icons including Worth, Lanvin, Poiret and Chanel this collection draws on extensive research into wedding dresses made by these leading designers. Their original lines, fabric design, embroidery, accessories and even how the dresses are constructed have all influenced today’s modern designs which promise to transform the bride.

The colour palette continues to remain pale and enamel-like. The metallic theme is further enhanced not only in the fabrics but also with the addition of embroidery, Chantilly, gold embellishment and jewels.

Displaying a thorough knowledge of bespoke craftsmanship, silhouettes are rounded with pure voluminous lines matched with sharp pleats, folds and draped geometric bows to define a new modern couture.

“We are delighted once again to be taking part in White Gallery London. For us, it is the perfect platform to showcase our brand to the UK and wider markets. The atmosphere, fellow exhibitors and visitors all mirror Jesus Pedro’s brand values of quality, simplicity and elegance” comments Oscar Garriga.

Jesus Peiro’s new collection will preview at at White Gallery London, Battersea Park 20-22 May 2012.
