Also on show was an amazing array of features and giveaways. The UK’s leading cake couturiers created their ultimate wedding cake, including a jaw-dropping 6ft sponge and a glow-in-the-dark cake – plus 12 lucky brides won the cake of their dreams, worth £1,000. While over at the We Heart Heels stand, brides got to pick their favourite designer shoes from the likes of Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin, before bidding for them in a charity auction in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

Catwalk At Brides The Show

Leading florist Zita Elze who won Brides’ Editor’s Gold Design Award said: ‘I was delighted to be involved in the design of the Brides The Show catwalk this year, creating a meadow alongside the runway and some bouquets for several of the talented dress designers. I’m also thrilled to have won the Brides magazine Editor’s Gold Design Award! Most of all I love the show because of all the smiling faces, meeting brides-to-be and connecting with so many interesting and creative people in the wedding industry.’

Brides The Show Business Design Centre

Wedding Planner The Bijou Bride said: ‘The planner’s lounge was just the perfect space, a moment of calm to discuss all the many inspirational ideas on show and how we can weave them into their wedding plans. It was a wonderful way to meet potential new clients. I’ve already booked a fabulous wedding.’

The move to the Business Design Centre allowed us to attract wider audience bases, and deliver our best-looking show to date. The quality of sponsors and exhibitors that showcased is testament to the affluent audience the event attracts, and continues to set us apart from competitive events in the bridal market. We are now hugely excited for our 2015 events.”
