Beyond Beautiful Beach Wedding Cabo Mexico

Darryl and Gina met on the dating website, 11 months later Darryl proposed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico while celebrating Gina's birthday.

Wanting to share their love for traveling, it seemed only fitting to get married a year later in Cabo, and bring 70 of their closest friends and family along for the ride.

The perfect venue for their romantic beach wedding was at Cabo del Sol Golf Course. They picked the location without seeing it in person but did their research and hoped for the best.

They were absolutely thrilled with their decision. The location gave them exactly what they wanted, a private beach front ceremony, a grass cocktail hour and a beautiful club house reception.

It was important for the couple to incorporate personal touches such as having a chair dedicated to their loved ones that have passed away, and having close friends who are musicians sing during the ceremony and first dance.  In order to keep costs down Gina's hands were in many of the personalized details throughout the wedding.

Friends and family helped with several DIY projects such as custom table numbers, escort cards and stationary, personalized water bottles, and the wedding website. Darryl being the easy going guy that he is, only had one request for the wedding, to wear a tan suit.

From there Gina kept the textures and colors soft using chiffon linens and light shades of pink, beige and white. Softness and romance was brought into the dinner area using amber lighting and candle light. Decisions on decor often involved a balancing act between the groom's preference of modern decor and the bride's flair for classic touches. The combination ultimately complimented each other beautifully.
