Idyllic Hertfordshire country house wedding venue, Micklefield Hall, is set to unveil its beautifully restored 16th century barn at its open day on Sunday, 19th April 2015 from 11am – 4pm.
The open day will give both existing and prospective couples a chance to see the recently renovated Great Barn along with Micklefield Hall’s exclusive list of preferred suppliers.
Set in beautifully kept gardens surrounded by 350 acres of rolling countryside, the Great Barn adds to the existing splendour of this outstanding venue. Visitors will also be able to tour the picturesque grounds of this magnificent country house.
The owners, Jamie and Anna Rankin, will be on hand to answer questions, but the event is also designed to showcase the best of Micklefield Hall’s exclusive list of approved suppliers.
Rather than couples meeting suppliers at stalls and collecting fliers, all of the talent will be presented in a realistic way, allowing guests the freedom to enjoy the beauty of the barn in a relaxed manner.
On offer will be live entertainment, wedding dresses to try on, mini makeovers, entertainment for children, personal tours every 30 minutes, free floristry advice, wine-tasting, mouth-watering catering, cake tasting and a comfortable, dedicated consultation area to discuss your wedding. Nothing needs to be left to the imagination.
Anna Rankin says: “The barn will be dressed in shades of lavender for spring, so couples will be able to see how their day might look. All of our handpicked suppliers are creating wonderful displays to inspire brides and grooms and to demonstrate the different options in a fun and interactive way. We are planning a truly enjoyable and memorable day out and cannot wait to welcome brides to our beautiful grounds and to give them a good idea of just how amazing their wedding day can be.”
