Spend a day learning to play polo and enjoying the relaxed nature of the Argentina. So you’ve watched the England team hammer up and down the field at Cartier Polo, you’ve read Jilly Cooper’s ‘Polo’ and think it all looks quite fun. Now this is your chance to get involved with the ‘Sport of Kings’ in a relaxed, pressure-free environment even if Daddy doesn’t happen to be Prince Charles.

Set on a private polo farm in Windsor, ‘Discover polo, the Argentine Way’organizes everything from transfers, safety gear and horses to an Argentine Asado BBQ at the end the day.

Whether you fancy yourself as the next Jack Kidd or it’s your first time on a horse, our Argentine pro, Oscar Mancini, captain of the Buenos Aires team at Polo in the park and 5 goaler (in other words, a Legend) will take you through from the polo basics to playing your first game on the day.

Whether victorious or the gracious loser you will be able to wind down and recover over a traditional Argentine Asado BBQ and finish the day watching Oscar and the pros showing you why this really is a sport for the fit and fearless!

Your Polo day:

9.00am: Bus collection outside Gloucester Road tube (or agreed pick up)

10.00 am: Arrive at the farm; coffee, tea. Meet your polo pony, equipment fit

10.30 am: Lessons start, on and off the horse

1.00 pm: Asado Argentine BBQ

2.30 pm: Watch a pro game

4.00 pm: The bus picks up

5.00 pm: Bus drop off

What to wear?: Comfortable jeans, boots with small heel, t-shirt (a polo one is naturally a good choice!)
