The Hotel
Blakes rooms are dramatic interpretations of deep, rich tones and subtle contrasts. The compositions are startling, luxurious and operatic. Some of the most astonishing interiors in the world can be found here as countless design magazine features have proven. What might have easily slipped into being ‘over the top’ is somehow neither too saccharine nor too precious.Rather, these interiors are fascinating exercises in design imagination, choreographed by the masterly eye of Anouska Hempel herself. Right down tothe smallest scale of carefully placed accessories or cushions, the relationship between objects and between forms and fields is studied and carefully resolved.
Weddings
Blakes is a unique venue for the most special day of your life. Our weddings are beautiful, memorable and the epitome of chic. Blakes caters for all, whether it is a quiet intimate gathering, renewing old vows, or a traditional full wedding celebration. Our attention to detail and flexibility will ensure the perfect Wedding Ceremony and Reception, so you and your guests can relax and celebrate your day in style.Blakes has a licence to perform wedding ceremonies in Suites 007 which is simply stunning in shades of raspberry and ivory, 505 a White French Provencal suite with gossamer nets and mother of pearl furniture and 003 in shades of grey.These magnificent suites are all individually designed for a very unique wedding, from incredible flowers, rose petals on the floor, down to immaculate attention to detail. Blakes is ideal for small groups of up to 36 at the ceremony, followed by lunch or dinner in the Chinese room. For larger parties, the restaurant can accommodate up to 80 guests for dinner, and 100 for Canapés. Our magnificent rooms really do have a licence to thrill!

restaurant. Discreetly screened off away from the hubbub. Parties of up to 36 can relax in this elegant, eclectic, ethnic hide away. Set up to clients exact specifications it is perfect for breakfast, lunches, dinners, cocktail parties, product launches, day meetings, conferences and banquets.
Afternoon Tea
After an exhausting day of shopping, sightseeing or both, Blakes Afternoon Tea is the perfect way to relax and re-invigorate yourself for the evening ahead.Served in the subterranean and sensuous splendour of our stunning Chinese Room or in our beautiful and restful Japanese Garden, our splendid Afternoon Tea will refresh and inspire you with its delicately, deliciously and freshly prepared finger sandwiches, our homemade scrumptious scones, fresh strawberries and cream, and a selection of indulgent cakes.In addition you can choose from a great selection of teas, from English Breakfast and Lapsang Souchong to freshly brewed Ginger Tea, to accompany.
