About Us
Chelsea Bidwill has spent the past 8 years creating sophisticated nautical interiors for the super yacht industry, as well as elegant interiors for my high end residential clients, boutique hotel chains and private clubs.
Through her interior design business, Beyond Design, she was approached by several of her clients to help with their wedding lists. She recognised a niche in the market and launched a new interior design service, 'Beyond Weddings' as an alternative to traditional wedding gift lists.
London-based interior design company Beyond Design Ltd has established a new approach to wedding lists with its unique Beyond Weddings service. Responding to demand for wedding lists that move beyond standard household items, this new concept offers couples the opportunity to transform their home with anything from paint to taps, lighting to linen, chaises to mirrors, creating a new bespoke interior which reflects their tastes.
Chelsea Bidwill, head designer of Beyond Design Ltd explains the concept further: A wedding normally represents the start of a new life as couples set out on their journey together. The furniture and decoration they choose will colour and shape their lives for years to come. Beyond Weddings creates wedding lists which allow couples to identify their combined style and to bring together the objects, furniture, decorations and fixtures needed to set up a marital home together, under the expert eye of a seasoned interior designer.
Our three services will help couples to:
Choose fabulous objects for their wedding list (including those already set up with other companies) by selecting pieces which complement their interior and make it a home.
Design a list which reflects a distinctive aesthetic for their home, from cushions to chandeliers, faucets to flooring, tables to tiles, all of which can be commissioned as bespoke.
Conceive a blueprint for an entirely new home, with a top to toe interior transformation, moving walls, adding windows or floors, with guests contributing to costs of the refurbishment.

Once the couple has chosen the extent to which they would like to take the project, they work closely with Chelsea to develop their ideas and to select the desired items to form their wedding list. The objects selected for the list can come from a single supplier or be sourced from within Chelsea's extensive network, and include bespoke commissions. Guests are then invited either to contribute to a wedding fund or to purchase items outright.
Bidwill continues, With the Beyond Weddings gift services, we hope to reduce the burden on couples during this busy preparation period, by researching, planning and composing the wedding gift list. We are also able to acquire discounted rates with suppliers, making it possible to get your whole interior fitted out as a wedding gift.
