Historic Trinity House launching wedding showcase this November

Introducing an exciting new showcase for the luxury wedding market, at historic Trinity House on November 29th 2015.


Trinity House, the working home of the General Lighthouse Authority discreetly located behind the Tower of London, is staging its inaugural Trinity House Wedding Showcase on the afternoon of Sunday, 29th November 2015 from 3pm – 5pm with supporting preferred caterers and specialist suppliers.  Six leading caterers and wedding/event organisers Party Ingredients, Palette, Payne & Gunter, Food Show Ltd, Lodge Catering, and Create Food and Party Eventswill showcase a selection of creative wedding fare and confectionery. Wedding cake specialists Daisy Cakes and cake topper Clare Basham Designs will also showcase their wares. Fine wines and spirits provider, McKinley Vintners, are sponsoring the event with a glass of champagne on guest arrival. SmallCarBigCity tours will provide a line-up of classic British mini-cars in front of the House for photo opportunities. 

Meet a range of specialist and luxury suppliers

Included in the select list of other exhibitors is a range of specialist services and suppliers including bride and groom couture designer Madeline Isaac James; bespoke bridesmaids dress designer, Sarah Jane Gaselee (herself a bridesmaid at Princess Diana’s wedding); wedding gowns and accessories couturier, Terry Fox; make-up styling by Jennifer Lo of LoLo and Co, hair and make-up by Patricia Mi of Bride and Roses, and skin care specialists, Forever Living Products; floral expertise in the form of The Fresh Flower Company, KW Floral Designs (by Karen Woolven) and tissue paper blossom maker Tissue Blossoms; Mark Dalton Photography, marquee providers Higham Marquees; oyster shucker extraordinaire – The Oyster Meister, musicians harpist Sheila Watts (Harp4U), and the Urban Soul Orchestra; and neighbouring five-star accommodation providers, City Grange Hotel.

Also planning to be involved is the historic All Hallows By The Towers Anglican Church, traditionally linked to the Port of London Authority and the oldest medieval church in the City of London to survive the Great Fire in 1666.  The site of Christian worship since 675 AD, the church is located within five minutes walking distance rendering the House ideal for post-service receptions and wedding breakfasts. (A collaborative offer is available for bridal parties who book both locations).
