We just visited The Intercontinental London Park Lane to have a wonderful Botanical afternoon tea in the Wellington Lounge. Having recently launched, we were very excited to sample these tasty treats. It‘s divine combination of whimsical tea mixed from citrus berries, spices and herbaceous botanical with open sandwiches cakes inspired by the season are ideal to have whilst taking in the amazing views of the beautiful Royal parks.
Executive Chef Paul Bates, has created an Afternoon Tea that blends the best of tradition with contemporary twists. We sampled a generous selection of open-faced sandwiches followed by warm home-made scones that were served with Kentish strawberry jam, Cornish clotted cream and decadent desserts.
