White Gallery London’s finest Stewart Parvin, was the chosen designer of the elegantly stunning gown for Royal bride Zara Phillips’ wedding to Mike Tindall this weekend.

Stewart Parvin is no stranger to working with royals, having designed and dressed the Queen for a number of years. In 2007 in recognition of his well-documented work with the Queen, Her Majesty awarded Stewart Parvin a Royal Warrant as her Couturier.

In keeping with Stewart Parvin’s traditional style, the full skirted silk faille gown captured Zara’s spirit and grace perfectly. The luxurious duchess satin hem and bust created a beautiful bell shaped silhouette reflecting Zara’s contemporary style yet remaining timelessly chic.

The striking gown had a concealed structured corset with silk tulle straps falling into an elegant V at the centre back of the gown. Delicate fabric-covered buttons adorned the centre back of the gown falling from neckline to hem. The gown was exemplary of Parvin’s classic structures A-line styles and was perfectly complimented with a fine silk tulle cathedral length veil garnished with Zara’s mothers Greek Key tiara.

The Queen looked wonderful in a summery shade of colour blocking apricot by Stewart Parvin, which was complimented by a hat of the same colour with beautiful appliqué feather detailing.

Stewart also designed the dress for the Maid of Honour, Dolly Maude, creating a chic cocktail dress with cap sleeves and a high neckline in a feminine dove grey tone, beautifully echoing the silhouette created by the bride’s gown.
